After starting life as a classical ballet dancer, Kelly's impressive abilities as a vocalist found her, as a young singer, performing as lead vocalist on a variety of different cruise ship shows. Moving on from this formative experience she graduated to musical theatre, where she appeared in West End shows at the Prince of Wales, Cambridge and Lyric Theatres, as well appearing as a guest artist in the UK Tour of Magic of the Movies. Television appearances include Top of the Pops, BBC’s Joy To The World at the Royal Albert Hall and Blue Peter. However, it's as a powerful and lyrical solo artist that Kelly has really started to make an impact on the UK music scene. A finalist in Open Mic UK 2015 it's appearances at the likes of The Parrot - The Waldorf Hilton, Pizza Express Live - Holburn, The Pheasantry and The Other Palace that have started to bring Kelly to the attention of a wider audience. Tonight Kelly will be making her 606 Club debut in the company of her powerful 7 piece Groove band performing new arrangements by Noam Galperin and Simon Niblock, featuring songs by artists such as Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Stevie Wonder along with a jazz/soul twist on some current chart hits. With a band that includes 606 regulars Jamie Anderson on sax, Trevor Mires on trombone and Tom Walsh on trumpet this promises to be an excellent night of music from an upcoming singer of real talent.
