Michelle JohnA highly experienced vocalist Michelle cut her musical teeth in The London Community Gospel Choir before moving on to work with the likes of George Michael, Annie Lennox, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. She toured the world for more than 10 years with Eric Clapton, leading to subsequent tours with Will Young, Herbie Hancock, Sheryl Crow and Lenny Kravitz. A vocal coach on Pop Idol, Michelle has also sung for President Obama at the White House. And in 2017, her breakout appearances as a finalist on “The Voice UK” (Team Will!) brought Michelle to the attention of a whole new audience captivated by her stunning performances, making her more popular and in-demand than ever. She performs a fabulous set of Groove-based standards and originals, including songs from her EP “Little Me” all written by Michelle herself. Without question a brilliant singer, Michelle will be accompanied by a powerhouse Soul/Funk rhythm section guaranteed to get everyone up and dancing under the stars! Jacqui DankworthHailing from one of the most prestigious families on the International Jazz scene, her mother is the iconic singer Cleo Laine and her father was the great John Dankworth, the multi-award winning Jacqui Dankworth is in her own right widely regarded as one of the finest singers of her generation. Her concert appearances and her stylistically diverse recordings showcase her virtuosic, seemingly effortless mastery of a wide spectrum of genres.  Known primarily as a jazz singer, Jacqui’s unique musical palette also draws on folk, soul, classical, blues, and numerous other influences. Reviewers have described her as “incomparable”, “multi-faceted” and “…one of our finest singers, regardless of category” (Sunday Times). Recent concerts have included appearances with the Liverpool Philharmonic, a special performance of her “Songs Of Stage and Screen” programme with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Cadogan Hall in London with members the RPO and the BBC Big Band, and as guest vocalist on Radio 2. Television appearances include live performances and interviews on BBC Breakfast, the Paul O’Grady Show, and The One Show. She has performed and recorded with a diverse array of celebrated musicians, including the Brodsky Quartet, Courtney Pine, Marvin Hamlisch, Paloma Faith, Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Gretchen Parlato, Clare Teal, Georgie Fame, David Gordon, Charlie Wood, Gregory Porter, The London Symphony Orchestra, and legendary jazz pianist Chick Corea. For her performance at Fulham Palace Jacqui will be appearing with her band featuring some of the finest jazz musicians in the UK. GENERAL INFORMATION

FOOD AND DRINK: The Drawing Room Café Bar will be open during the evening, with a full bar featuring wine, Budvar, Pimm's, Gin Bramble cocktails, et cetera. Should the weather be chilly, tea & coffee will also be available.

SEATING: This event takes place on the main lawn of Fulham Palace. Chairs and tables are not provided with your ticket though are available to rent in advance for a small fee (we cannot guarantee availability of tables on the night itself unless they are pre-booked). You may also bring your own blanket or low-backed chair if you wish.

ON SITE SECURITY: For the safety and security of all present, we will be checking the bags of anyone attending the event prior to entry. After passing through security, customers will be provided with a colour-coded wristband to allow them to leave and re-enter the Palace grounds if they wish.
