LUNCHTIME SPECIAL: GOSPEL LUNCH ft. JUNIOR ROBINSON
This month we are very pleased to present one of British Gospel’s great stars, Junior Robinson. The recipient of the coveted gospel award “Best male vocalist of the year” 94/95 Junior is one of the most popular and widely respected gospel vocalists in Europe. His powerful voice has been heard worldwide, including tours of North America, Brasil, Colombia, Equador and Mexico and more recently he has been focused on performing and teaching in the likes of Denmark, Germany, Italy, Poland and Switzerland. It's a measure of the respect with which he is held that he has performed for not one but two popes(!), John Paul II and more recently in 2013 for Pope Francis. Today Junior, an old friend of the Club, will be appearing with his own, fantastic, Gopell Group performing a set of classic and some contemporary Gospel in his own, inimitable style.
