Bobby Quigley's Organ Trio with special guest Joy Rose
This fantastic "Groove" gig features the band of guitarist Bobby Quigley, a formidable young musician who includes work with the likes of Pete Ray Biggin, Imaani and Katie Leone on an impressive cv. Citing influences including Larry Goldings, Peter Bernstein, John Scofield and Dr Lonnie Smith, tonight he is bringing in his Trio featuring Ross Stanley-organ & Richard Bailey-drums to perform what he describes as “a voyage of reimagination of jazz & soul, with a hint of New Orleans thrown in there for good measure”. Bobby's special guest is the remarkable singer, Joy Rose (Sting, Incognito). With her formidable vocal range and power, her various albums & singles including "The Rose in Me" have topped the UK soul charts. Seriously good music!
