Singer, trumpet player, songwriter and producer Pete Horsfall is a wonderful musician, probably best known at the Club for his work with Kansas Smitty’s, of which he is a founding member. He has performed at most major UK jazz venues and festivals, including Ronnie Scott’s & the Barbican and has made numerous international appearances, including Paris' Duc Des Lombards as well as a week in New York City at Jazz at Lincoln Center. His album, ‘Nighthawks’, was acclaimed by the Guardian as ‘ravishing’, and he's also worked with artists as varied as DJ Premier, De La Soul, Kurt Elling, Jamie Cullum, Guy Barker and Friendly Fires.
For this special Sunday lunch show Pete will be appearing with renowned bassist Paul Morgan, who has worked with everyone from Ronnie Scott to Robbie Williams over a distinguished and enviable career, and the excellent jazz pianist Alex Bryson (Grant Stewart, Chris Cheek, Alex Garnett, Steve Fishwick. Expect a beautifully melodic set filled with taste and charm!
