Helena Kay recipient of prestigious Peter Whittingham Award

Congratulations to musician Helena Kay for being awarded Peter Whittingham Award by Help Musicians UK (HMUK).

This is the 27th anniversary of the award with previous recipients including Soweto Kinch, Phil Meadows and Roller Trio. It was set up in memory of Peter Whittingham, who was a survival medicine expert and pianist, to help the career of an emerging jazz musician.

We will be welcoming Helena Kay to the club on Tuesday 23rd January with pianist Barry Green.
