606 Club 50th Anniversary Festival
Owned and managed by musician Steve Rubie since 1976, the 606 Club was founded to present the best UK-based jazz, soul, blues, R&B, Latin, singer/songwriter and groove artists! Located just a few minutes from King's Road and called “London’s best music venue” by Jamie Cullum – who played some of his first London shows here – the Club celebrates its 50th Anniversary starting this October with an All-Star series of performances from Monday the 12th to Sunday the 25th.
For five decades, the Club has remained true to the spirit that defined its beginnings: a place where musicians can connect, audiences can discover incredible performances and creativity can continue to thrive. While the world around it has changed dramatically, the 606 Club’s sense of community and passion for live music has remained constant.
Reflecting on reaching this remarkable milestone, Steve Rubie says: “Keeping the Club going for 50 years is a triumph of optimism over experience!”
