IN REMEMBERANCE: MO FOSTER 1944-2023

Renowned bass player, songwriter, producer and author Mo Foster passed away in London this past July.
His legacy is simply extraordinary...as a musician, touring and recording with artists such as Jeff Beck, Phil Collins, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Sting and others of their ilk-he played on more than 400 albums. More than 300 compositions to his name, ultimately receiving the BASCA (British Composers) "Gold Badge" Award in recognition.

The video we have chosen here fittingly showcases Mo's playing, and also features his contemporary, guitarist Ray Russell, with whom he often appeared. They performed at the Club several times over the past decade and we will treasure those memories all the more now.
