JAZZ SINGERS WORKSHOP AND INTRODUCTION TO ESTILL VOICE TRAINING

A friend of long standing who has performed at the 606 for many years, Claire Martin OBE and her vocal coach Stefan Holmström present a day-long workshop for intermediate to advanced jazz singers.

The class includes an introduction to Estill Voice Training (EVT) and individual performance and coaching slots for ten active participants to sing a jazz standard of their choice accompanied by leading UK jazz pianist Rob Barron. This is a unique opportunity to sing at the iconic 606 Club in a relaxed, supportive setting and get expert feedback from two world class tutors. There are spaces for both active participants and observers. A Q&A on promotion and how to get gigs from club owner Steve Rubie will round off the day.
