Alex Hitchcock’s fluent, melodic and creative sax style has already made a significant impression on the UK jazz scene with performances at the likes of Love Supreme, the Barbican and Royal Albert Halls and features on BBC Radio 3 and Jazz FM. His fluent and melodic playing has been heard with the likes of the Patchwork Jazz Orchestra, Soweto Kinch, Chris Cheek and the BBC Big Band. Also featured tonight will be the impressive trumpet of UK Nu Jazz star Mark Kavuma.
