Amy Bird
Amy Bird is a London based singer and a regular at the 606 with 'swamp soul' band The Coalminers (featuring on their EP “With You In Mind - a Tribute to Allen Toussaint”). From the Isle of Wight, Amy was born into a musical family and was singing with a ten-piece band at just sixteen years of age! From there, she joined New Bucks Fizz, touring arenas in the UK and Europe. During lockdown she started her own group to play deep cuts from well-known soul, funk, blues and Americana artists from Chaka Khan to The Doobie Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Isley Brothers and more. Joined by four fantastic musicians, Mike Redfern & Al Cherry-guitars, Dan Drury-bass & Oscar Reynolds-drums this is a show filled with good vibes and great songs!
