Becky Alice
A finalist in the Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Competition in Washington D.C, singer Becky Alice was named as “one to discover” by UK Jazz News. Her soulful interpretations, creative scat singing and emotional storytelling breathe life into both well-known classics and her own originals, with her first EP, released in 2025, being featured on BBC Radio 3. Accompanied by Bruno Heinen-piano, Oli Hayhurst-bass & Tim Sampson-drums the theme will be songs written by women, some well known (Betty Carter, Abby Lincoln) and others less so (Ann Ronnell, Maria Greber & more). Expect to hear these standards lovingly reimagined in a new light!
