Birdland's repertoire is an enticing blend of their own original compositions and classic bebop & American songbook-influenced jazz where, as the band like to put it “the familiar intertwines with the unexpected and boundaries are transcended”. This is seriously good music from some of the brightest new stars on the scene who include the likes of Vanessa Williams, China Moses & Jazz Jamaica on their collective cv’s.
