Bobby Quigley's BQ Band with Special Guest Gina Foster
This fantastic "Groove" gig features the band of guitarist Bobby Quigley, a formidable young musician who includes work with the likes of Pete Ray Biggin, Imaani and Katie Leone on an impressive cv. The music will be an infectious blend of Groove and Jazz featuring a selection of classic groove standards by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock, Leon Ware & Sting with the occasional original thrown in for good measure. As would be expected, the rest of the band is made up of some of the finest musicians on the scene, the wonderful Sean Hargreaves on piano, groove powerhouse "Level" Neville Malcolm on bass and the remarkable Jose Joyette on drums. Bobby's special guest this evening will be the brilliant singer Gina Foster. Probably best known for her work with the iconic group “Swing Out Sister” Gina is a truly gifted singer who has worked prolifically in jazz, R&B, groove, pop and dance music with high profile artists including Eric Clapton, Sinead O’Connor and many more.Be sure to attend what promises to be a “Groove” extravaganza.
