Multi-award-winning vocalist Claire Martin OBE joins forces with her longtime friend and guitar giant Jim Mullen for an evening of stylishly reworked songs from the great American Songbook and beyond. With 22 albums to her name Claire has toured the world with her trio as well as being a featured soloist for the likes of the Halle Orchestra, The Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, The BBC Concert Orchestra and The BBC Big Band. The multi-Award-winning Jim Mullen is widely regarded as one of the finest jazz guitarists on the international jazz scene. He has toured and worked with an impressive range of artists, including Mose Allison, Jimmy Witherspoon and the Average White Band as well as being co-leader of the iconic jazz-funk band "Morrissey-Mullen". Featuring standards by Gershwin, Arlen, Porter and Donny Hathaway and joined by the excellent Karen Sharp-sax and a BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year Ewan Hastie-bass, this promises to be a night full of swing and soul.
