David Preston
A finalist at the Montreux International Guitar competition, David is composer and co-leader for the acclaimed UK modern-jazz trio ‘Preston Glasgow Lowe’. He includes work with the likes of Melody Gardot, Curtis Stigers, David Binney, Gary Husband, Eska & Goldie on an impressive cv and released his debut album ‘Purple / Black’ in April 2023 to significant acclaim (“Editor’s Choice” Jazzwise). Tonight he will be performing his impressive, melodic and evocative, originals along with the occasional Jazz standard alongside a veritable “Supergroup” featuring Ivo Neame-piano (Phronesis), Nat Facey-sax & Shane Forbes-drums (Empirical) and Ferg Ireland-bass (Jamie Cullum, Gregory Porter).
