Elly Hoyt
Elly Hoyt is a spellbinding Australian singer and songwriter now living in London. Her three albums to date have gained praise from All About Jazz, Limelight magazine, and The Music Trust and accolades include the Bell Award for Best Australian Jazz Vocal Album and the Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship. A respected educator as well as performer, she also lectures in Voice and Songwriting at BIMM Institute, London. Appearing tonight for her first featured show at the 606, Elly and her band present an intimate night of swinging standards, bossa nova and original material.
