An Award-winning and Grammy-nominated performer and composer Larry Goldings' organ trio with Peter Bernstein and Bill Stewart has been widely recognized as one of the finest trios of its kind in the world. However, he grew up primarily as a pianist and it is this facet of his playing that will be featured this evening. As a performer he is known for collaborations with artists such as Maceo Parker, Pat Metheny and Michael Brecker and outside of the jazz world is probably best known for his twenty-year collaboration with iconic US singer/songwriter James Taylor. His all-encompassing artistry can be heard in his solo piano performances, creating an evening of spontaneous, creative and eclectic music. Oh, and possibly ruining the evening will be “guest artist” Hans Groiner (all will be revealed on the night!). An outstanding evening of music from one of the USA’s finest musicians.
