Meg Lee
A soulful and versatile jazz & blues singer-songwriter, Meg Lee has graced stages alongside artists such as Rumer, Kat Eaton and Sarah Jane Morris. Born in Cheshire, she was inspired by Peggy Lee & Ella Fitzgerald while still in her teens and is now equally influenced by contemporary voices such as Melody Gardot and Madeline Peyroux. Bringing a contemporary edge to timeless classics, Meg is also a fine songwriter, writing and producing her own material, which has earned regional and national airplay on stations including BBC Radio 2. Her various recordings include her 2018 debut album “Meet Me” along with her follow up EP “Wintertime Thing” and her latest single, "Big Beautiful Beat” played on BBC Radio Manchester. Known for her warm stage presence and natural charm, Meg’s style is a true mix of the old and the new and we are delighted to welcome her to the Club along with her excellent band, Dean Stockdale-piano, Paul Booth-sax, Geoff Gascoyne-bass & Sebastiaan De Krom-drums.
