Misha Mullov-Abbado
Winner of the 2014 Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize and the Dankworth Prize for jazz composition, Misha Mullov-Abbado is a highly respected and in-demand bass player, composer and arranger. A 2014 City of Music Foundation & 2017 BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist, Misha has released three extremely well-received albums, picking up “Best Jazz Albums of 2015” plaudits from both the Telegraph and BBC Radio 3. Tonight’s show will be a unique, intriguing collaboration as Misha is joined by top UK players George Crowley on tenor, Liam Dunachie on piano and Billy Pod on drums playing a mix of their own originals along with preferred jazz standards.
