The wonderful Natalie Williams has been appearing here at the Club for over 10 years, going from a young upcoming Soul/R&B singer to established artist. With a ten-year residency at Ronnie Scott’s leading her “Soul Family” Sundays through appearances at International festivals such as Montreux, Rochester (New York), Jakarta and the Blue Note Tokyo Nat has established herself as one of the finest singers on the UK scene. Her two-year stint as a lead vocalist in Incognito brought her worldwide acclaim and as a lead artist in her own right Natalie has performed at the Cheltenham, Manchester, Love Supreme and London Jazz Festivals. As well as Jazz and Groove she also includes work with the likes of drum and bass icons Goldie and Nu:Tone and her own output of soul and R&B resulted in her receiving a MOBO nomination. The music this evening will feature classic jazz and groove standards as well as originals from her most recent albums. And ably assisting her tonight will be her fantastic band, featuring Conor Chaplin-bass, Phil Peskett-piano, Al Cherry-guitar and James Maddren-drums. Special singer, special gig.
