Sean Fyfe Quartet ft Nat Steele Photo 1

Canadian pianist Sean Fyfe cites modern jazz & hard bop standard-bearers Cedar Walton, Wynton Kelly and Bill Evans as his primary inspirations. After graduating from the highly regarded Manhattan School of Music, he appeared at various notable venues in Canada and the US before establishing himself here in London, becoming one of the busiest pianists on the scene. Working with top players such as Dave O’Higgins, Alex Garnett, Jon Gordon, Ralph Moore & Mornington Lockett, Sean has also released three of his own albums as bandleader and, joined by Nat Steele-vibraphone, Simon Read-bass and Mark Taylor-drums will be playing choice selections from that rich canon at the show this evening. A sassy, swinging gig!
